I recently got a pair of Doc Martens, Just wondering what jeans to wear with them. All the pictures on Google show them being worn with really skinny jeans and the boots worn over them. Any ideas..? People who have them how do you wear yours?

Take a pair of 501 roll them up , and run down the street shouting oi oi oi.

But seriously doc works with everything , even suits if you're a skinhead .

I wear Doc Martens with a lot of casual, or slightly more dressed looks. They work best with workwear styles IMO, denim, tapered chinos, commuters, etc.. Mine have an almost plastic look to the leather though, so I think they look kind of cheap and I never clean them up with the exception of wiping dust off. A good quality pair of boots is a must and Docs really aren't IMO. I wear them in damp weather to keep from ruining a good pair of boots made from nicer materials.

^ yeah the leather is crap, even on the made in england ones. at a distance they look fine, just make sure not to get too close to anyone when you wear them. if you shave your head and put white laces on your docs people will avoid you so you won't have to worry about anyone judging the leather quality. docs are basically indestructible though so you can kick the crap out of them or curbstomp people as much as you want and not worry about them.

i usually wear mine with more volumunious bottoms, like my baggier wool pants rolled up to my ankle. they are chunky shoes so i don't like my outfit to be too slim.

Anyone else get really sweaty in docs? I imagine it being because the leather doesnt breathe better than plastic..

Not too sweaty, but I only wear them in colder damp weather. I can imagine in warmer wear yeah, they don't really have any ventilation. The "leather" feels very synthetic or something. I use Clorox wipes to clean them and it has no ill effects on the stuff.

I liked my doc martens, polished nicely but I decided it was a health risk to wear them in winter and what's point of a boot if you cant do that? No traction on packed snow or ice. It was scary.

I dressed casual with Docs and wore jeans or chinos.
