This is a huge loss for me and hopefully a feature that will be coming back shortly. Can anyone comment?

I also liked the ability to "hide" my online status. There is an option to do this in "Preferences" but it doesn't seem to save / work.

Seems to be working totally fine now. Yesterday there was significant lag when changing pages, etc. This morning it's operating at normal speed with no lag for me.
We are going to change some of the settings on the server - update our version of MySQL, and increase the buffer size considerably - and see if that doesn't make the site blazing fast. You can thank our systems admin and developer for that. I'm wrapping my head around much more basic things.

I meant faster than before the change. I think it's a little better now than maybe 2 hours ago but pages have been opening slower especially if there's pictures. It's not so bad currently but I do see a difference that it's slower than before the change. Much better than earlier today and yesterday. :D

We are making some changes in the server configuration: an upgrade to a new version of SQL, an increase in the buffer size, that should help things.

We are working our way through things. Though I've worked with some smaller forums on the same platform, working on a site that is an order of magnitude or more larger has a lot of different requirements that we are learning about in real time.

You will always be visible to yourself and to mods and admins, but I think that you are invisible otherwise!

Cheers,

Fok.

I cannot seem to figure out why I unable post a thread on the Buy & Sell forum. After I finish entering all the details for a listing...I click save and get an error message. I'd love to show you what this message looks like...but unfortunately I'm unable to post any pictures without receiving the same message. All of my images are below 1MB each...The error doesn't specify that anything specific is wrong. I've tried multiple browsers and my cell phone. No avail.

UPDATE: I filled out EVERY input box and was able to post.

Additionally, the entire browsing experience is painfully slow and boggy. I experience this both on mobile and desktop.
This seems to be happening for you and for @Brianpore as well, which means that the issue may be more widespread. Not sure why. If you could both email me at [email protected] with your browser, OS, and any wierd things that you might have done to your brower settings, I can try to investigate to see if there is any common element.

Sorry, sometimes finding out the source of a member specific issue can be tricky detective business.

Hmmm...that's different.

Test: I see you're visible in this thread , and I'm here.

So do you see me online or viewing this thread? (I'll leave my browser open here for a while.)

Nope, you are not visible to me.

Edit: so I finally saw the "New posts have been added" pop up. Its not big or flashy like the old site but there nonetheless. Sweet.

Visible to me, but that means nothing...

Doh! I should have known that.

Thanks! For both items.

I still haven't seen the "new posts have been added" Disappoints me. Maybe there's an administrative setting to make it persist?

Having the same issues. I can email you if you like, but I'm running Mac Sierra (10.12.2) and Chrome. I updated Chrome just to be sure, no go.

I notice the alerts are slow to load. When I hover over the lightning bolt, it can take up to a minute before it loads.

One other issue is a revisit to multi-quotes: When I click "reply" and then carry it over to the next page to add another quote, the first is lost. Is this correct or should they save in the dialogue box?

Thanks!

Hey guys, would it be possible to let members create a wish list so that sellers can make offer to members. For example wish list can be a part of the signature.

You can also see it as a green dot beside each thread - that means that you have unread posts.
