1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    I get into NYC (assuming there's no "Day After Tomorrow") the 13th. Capsule's that Mon/Tues and then I leave Thurs morning. We'll be working Mon and Tues during the day so Sun, Tues, or Weds night would work best for me for drinks.

    I arrive on the 11th and leave on the morning of the 18th so please anytime before that!!!

    i dont get all this manufactured nonchalance that MC is always on about, all those crooked tie knots and unbuttoned cuffs just make them look dumpy, imo.

    this is an awesome thread though.

    the fact that people attempt to systematize it is silly;
    the fact that it looks good, however, is without question.
    better by far than some kind of regimental, super-straight and buttoned-up appearance.
    anyway, why is no effort ever made to cross over and comprehend the other boards?
    whoever said in RFT that it's becoming more polarized was right. URALLMORONS

    But the moral of this story is that the nuances such as hair and facial hair can make a world of difference. You don't need to run to your local barber/hairstylist with a fistful of Synthese pictures. However, if you're one of the people suffering from nosteezeitis, then you may want to consider if details such as your hair are playing a factor. Your smacked-ass haircut may be the only thing holding you back.

    How bad is it that I did this?

    And as Adam(not West)24 shows, cleaner doesn't have to equal boring. A lot of his fits utilize muted colors, but in a manner where they complement the other.

    FTFY.

    Also, I liked the Augusto86 before better than the after, Samba stripes and arm stripes aside.

    For reals, though, thanks for un-derailing this thread. I'd offer to provide a cringe-worthy pre-SF picture of myself from a couple of years ago, but my current fits are still pretty mediocre.

    You know now that I think of it I think me wearing slimmer jeans was the giant turning point in my life. I bought some raw denim, felt like the shit, became more confident and started kicking butt in life
