Are there any professional, budding or just interested screenwriters around? If so, what are your favourite scripts and why? Who are the professionals that have influenced your writing the most? When I first started tinkering around with it, I just read lots of Pedro Almodóvar's work translated into English, and lifted parts of his style.

That said, my favourite screenplays:

Sideways - Jim Taylor & Alexander Payne
Annie Hall - Woody Allen
M*A*S*H* - Ring Lardner Jr.
The Usual Suspects - Christopher McQuarrie.
