1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It is marked as a size 34, and so should fit a 32 waist, but it actually is best suited to a 31 waist. I am a 30 waist, and got myself a 34, because I like a little extra tongue. and of course, or holes can be punched in the leather, if need be.

If someone wants my belt it would make it a lot easier for me, but if not I'll be happy to wear it [IMG]

    Good news and bad news.

Hi guys, I have some good news and some bad news. Good news is that the belts are all here, and that Daiki is shipping them to me now. Bad news is that the order was screwed up, and we got shorted on the size 36 blue belts. Good news again is that there are some extra belts in size 32 and 34 (blue only). Very limited number of both. First come, first served. Please email me (do not pay yet) at fokyan.leung at gmail dot com, if you are interested. Cheers,

    Fok.

Note that those who ordered the Blue in size 36 *will* get them. It will just take a little longer. Sorry guys.

Belts are here (well, they are at Gary's, and I will pick them up this afternoon.) Apparently, the orders were filled correctly, at least on the packing slip, so there is a mixup somewhere [IMG]. I will go through the belts by hand this afternoon. and see what the deal is. My first shipment will be next Monday. Please don't paypal me anything before I give the go ahead. However, when I do, to ensure that you get yours shipped by then, please Paypal me the $75 (includes shipping, $80 for others. 2000db, I'll PM you.) so that payment is cleared by Friday to ensure Monday shipment.

    Cheers all!

    Here at last!

    Fok.

Belts are in! To those who pre-ordered the belt, please remit either $75 (inside USA) or $80 (outside USA) via Paypal to fyl at io.harvard.edu to complete your order, and the belt will be sent to you fully insured via priority mail or global priority mail next Monday. (Those few who ordered more than two belts, the price is either $145 or $150 depending on where you are at. Those who choose to pay by e-check will have their belt shipped to them the Monday following clearance. Please make sure to include your shipping address and size. I will cross-check all this information, but I want to be sure that everyone gets the size that they ordered. Gary hasn't sent me the pics we took yet, but there is the "Engineered Garments for Styleforum" on the underside of the belt, the strap is snap off, with 2 brass snaps between which lies the holder. Both colors are really nice. I got a blue one for myself, and am wearing it right now. You guys are gonna like these things. Edit: Here is an over exposed picture of the belt (those are really dark New Standards I am wearing, and the scratch is completely unnoticeable, to give you an idea of the overexposure from the flash). The actual color is as shown on the swatch in the first post. I' just asked Gary to send me some of the pics we took. [IMG]

Yours is in the mail dude. Yeah, that's the w+h shawl. Really my favorite piece right now. The neck line is great, and the fit is amazing. Just the right length (hits just under the waist) and slim without being overtedly fitted. And this year's tiger fleece is really great. Looks like a donegal tweed, with fine flecking rather than the larger flecking from last year.

Thanks. Yeah, I wear the pin [IMG] I know it's sort of cheesy, but I sort of like it. It is a pretty neat pin. At first, I didn't want any branding at all. But then I thought, ah, screw it, I like the pin, why should I be a reverse snob and care that there is some branding [IMG]

Booyah, ah DDML, that was fun.

Now, if only England had ordered a belt...

I am starting to enjoy the open bitchiness over at Supernofuture. But only coming from me.
