I know. They do and I've seen fits that look really good with paisley, I just don't think it's me.

Excellent. @Krish the Fish wins it at $550 for 5 ties. That's a good deal for everyone and a good donation to the Ronald McDonald House. If you could email me at [email protected] for details, that would be great.

Auction 5 will be up shortly.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

    Auction 5: Epaulet Mac Coat
starts immediately, ends 8 p.m. PST, Thursday, Dec 7.

Since it’s outerwear season, what better to offer than a brand new coat from one of Styleforum’s most beloved affiliates,@Epaulet

Up for bidding is a weatherproof mac (in olive or navy) from the good folks over at Epaulet; a special collaboration with American Trench. Stave off the elements with a sturdy waxed canvas fabric, turn the collar up against mother nature’s fury, and dance in the rain like nobody’s watching. This beauty’s made in downtown Los Angeles, and will take on a beautiful patina over time as you stand outside in the elements and roar defiantly at the sky.

As for all these auctions, 100% of the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (www.rmhc.org), an organization that helps house and feed the families of children who have to travel for medical care. It's an incredibly stressful and emotionally draining time for families, and financial issues associated with loss of time at work, only compound those stresses. The Ronald McDonald Houses do their best to alleviate that stress by providing food and shelter and a home away from home for these families. I know that during this time, there are many worthy charities to support, and we really appreciate your taking part in these charity auctions.

The retail price is between $285. We will start the bidding at about 1/2 of the retail, or $145. The bidding will go by increments of $25.

Please bid generously to help the Ronald McDonald House.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

If only it got below, say, 60F (15.5C) for any appreciable amount of time here in Orange County.

I should've bid on the ties.

I heard that there will be a freak snow storm when you go. But you can ignore me at your peril.
