1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Happy to help for a great cause! Love this auction...I'll try to bid before I do the rest of my Christmas shopping in order to steal from my budget. Once I spend money on myself, I can decide who is important enough for a real gift and who is getting an air freshener from the car wash.

Do I hear a $320 for a leather backpack? You get something that retails for $475 AND contribute to a great charity. It's all win.

    Anything for the children.

And now the real dilemma. Can I rock that with brown boots?....

Auction 3: La Portegna Business traveler package
    Ends Tuesday, Dec 1, 2015.5 p.m. PST

Let's start the bidding... now. The following auction will be a 24 hour auction and will end at 5 pm PST.

La Portegna is a company owned and run by our good friend Jose. You may know his goods from @gdl203 's store, www.NoManWalksAlone.com. La Portegna also has a webstore: www.laportegna.com

This auction is for one 15" leather Belgrano office bag (http://laportegna.com/collections/m...r-office-bag-belgrano-15-natural#.Vl44zHarT_w), and 1 tan Passport holder (http://laportegna.com/products/passport-holder-tan#.Vl45-3arT_x), together as a set.

Retail: 310 GBP, or about $470, using current exchange rages.

Let's start the bidding at $230. The minimum increment on a bid will be $25. Please announce bids on this thread. If you wish to be anonymous, you may PM me, and I will proxy the bid for you.

Important note: The bidding will not end if there has been a bid in the last 10 minutes, regardless of time. So, for example, if there is a bid at 2:59 Monday morning, the bidding will go on until 3:09, and if there is a bid before or at that time, the bidding will continue. Essentially, sniping is not going to be effective. It's for charity, y'all.

Here are some pictures to make you all weep and bid generously and often:

Incidentally, we are now up to $1450 for the Ronald McDonald House with that last auction.

Let's see if we can't get to $2000 tomorrow.

    Bid generously.

    Cheers,

    Fok,.

Perhaps you guys don't understand how beautiful this freakin' bag and wallet are. These are lifetime achievement-tier goods. Just check out the leather:

Imagine how stunning these pieces will look after a couple of years. The bag will fit your laptop, tablet, papers, anything - and did you notice those leather handles that tuck back into the bag itself, so that you can carry it as an underarm portfolio?

    Come on, people - let's hear 325$!!!
