StyleForum's eBay Round Up

After a careful round of reprogramming, the StyleForum Robot is newly equipped to run sophisticated searches to plum eBay for the great deals and rare finds. We will be doing these roundups every week, on Sunday Morning. Our administrator tells me that he regularly checks eBay, but that he easily falls into the rut of looking at the same few dozen brands. We want to show you things that you might want that you didn't even see until just... now. Check early, bookmark often, and snag something killer at an unbelievable price.

Especially interesting this week is the Robert Geller asymmetrical trench coat, from an early collection, which references back to his days with Alexandre Plokhov at Cloak. While his more recent designs have tended towards a lusher aesthetic, featuring lots off off-blacks and dark burgundies, this black cotton jacket looks straight out of a Prussian military history museum. Cool. And if you are looking to channel tattered mid-century Hollywood cool, or are costuming yet another remake of "The Great Gatsby" and need things for your inspiration board, check out the vintage Sulka robe, from a now defunct brand that for a long time characterized the best of movie start excess.
