For real though, I'd like to see stuff from some contemporary mid-range menswear brands that are maybe well-known here (e.g. Lad Musician or Attachment) but not really well considered? There's a lot of awareness around these brands, but not a lot of actual thoughts shared.

Japan's cocktail nerd culture is fascinating. I've seen it briefly covered in various shows (Bourdain etc.), but everything from the long alleys of diivey micro bars to the super intricate hotel bars etc.

So when I went to Japan and stayed there for about a week (i have no idea where i got 10 days from. sorry!) I did a lot of exploring. It was really ******* hot and humid (right before monsoon season). My biggest joy/regret (is there a term for this) is splitting my trip between Tokyo and Kyoto. Definitely needed more time to explore both cities.
