I already organize social events on a fairly regular basis (although most of the men that attend probably wouldn't qualify as SF-approved, which won't come as a surprise to anyone from or visiting Vancouver).

I've seen a number of different meetup groups started around here - I believe there's one in SF as well as one in Korea - and I think the focus is more on bringing together members who may live or be traveling through the same region.
