This is the second time we've had an affiliate report this to us in as many months. In case it is not clear, asking for payment in kind (i.e. free merchandise) in exchange for a review is strictly against the forum rules, for obvious reasons. It corrodes the integrity of the forum.

I have just banned user brinkley216 for just this behavior, and for threatening an affiliate with negative reviews after he had abused their voucher system.

Anyone else thinking of creative ways of getting free stuff should stop.

Yours,

Fok.

Such behavious is entirely inappropriate.

Sadly it is commonplace at another group of Forums, where the 'proprietor' himself is guilty of this. He however avoids being questioned on it by various ruses.

I have heard through the grape vine that some people on other forums are giving styleforum good reviews in exchange for post count increases

Ed tried to bribe me to post a Panta review in exchange for a red-collared chesterfield coat.

Ed has been coercing me to wear Pantas in WAYWRN or else he'll "throw a shoe at me like he was a fat woman on Jerry Springer".
