A chat would be a really great idea. The channel could be on AIM and IRC - just "styleforum" works. I'm sure that wouldn't cause any confusion for anyone.

Feel free to resurrect the chat. We had it running for a month or so but people rarely stopped by. It's one of my ongoing "mean to" list items to set up a java chat thing on the site so it's not so much work to get to it.

That's basically what I'm talking about. The better ones are a front-end for IRC chat so that people who want to use a real IRC client can still connect.

Bump. BG re-kindled the chat tonight. The room is 'sartorialgentsclub' on AIM.

Just select your own name on your buddy list, click the 'chat' icon near the bottom of the application, and put sartorialgentsclub as the room name.

Like j said, we tried an IRC chat and there wasn't enough people coming to keep it up. If there's enough demand then we should start one, by all means.
