Hi guys, I expect after you guys joined Styleforum to have retired quite a lot of pieces of clothing.

I was thinking it'd be interesting to see what you guys gave up on. I'm at work but will post later when I get home over the weekend.

Have fun guys! Bring the ugly on.

Your Kenneth Coles, your 5 button suits, your baggy shirts, etc

I have a low double-breasted canary yellow blazer that I had MADE when I was in high school. It fits like a shopping bag. I used to wear it with black and white spectators. I wish I had a picture. Sorry to upset anyone's morning.

I have a green Burberry suit that I just can't bring myself to wear anymore (it was a gift).

Black billowy pleated ones. I used to also wear a dark blue shirt with it and sometimes a black hat.

No one can beat me in this category. Hehe. Not something really to be proud of, but still...

What else?

A maroon suede, fake fur-lined, vest that was a gift from a girlfriend (she took it right off her own back and gave it to me). She suggested I wear it, and unfortunately I did. She was the domineering sort. She also made me wear her pants.

Like an idiot, I gave away my very first Armani BL topcoat . . . it was an unusual, smoke colored wool felt. Pick stitching on the peak lapels . . . elegant, seamed shaping. My cousin begged me for it . . . now he doesn't know 'what happened,' to it. Never again.

I have a lot of baggy trad shirts that are slowly making their way to ebay. You'll see the pix there.

Before I found these boards I wasn't a fashion wannabee, just more vintage and trad. Now I'm more contemporary, more fit-oriented, and a little streetwearish. So the old mistakes aren't super interesting.

I don't feel this should be a rule.

I've got a couple of pair of square toe shoes. A pair of Aldos and a Banana Republic. The BR's are better quality (which tells you something about the Aldos!) both are Black, glued, corrected grain and gross.

I also have about 3 Kenneth Coles which get uglier as I look at them!

My 2 pair of Cole Haans are my go-to rain shoes and truthfully are better than the above though I supppose they are also glued and corrected grain.

The CH's aren't square toe though.
