Gentlemen,

Having read the "stuff styleforum overrates" thread, and being a noob to the forum, I was thinking about the things styleforum rates well (at least, according to my limited exposure). So, I am starting this thread to address this very idea. I'm interested especially in what newcomers like me think, but I clearly value the opinions of all the SF veterans out there.

I'll start:

SF members rate well ...
1. importance of shoe trees
2. the texture of cloth in addition to color, pattern, etc.
3. having confidence in what one wears.

I guess this can also be interpreted as "stuff I've taken away from reading the forum".

The only logical step now is to have a thread about "Stuff Styleforum Underrates".

Anne Hathaway will be in that one too.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.
