I must be an outlier. My wife is white. My mom, Chinese. My wife has a heart shaped face and large eyes. My mom, a round face and small eyes. I don't really concentrate on my mom's mouth, perhaps a habit from years of ignoring her advice, but certainly, their lips are quite disimilar.

Maybe deep down, I just hate myself.

Mine could not look more different. Eyes, hair, coloring, lips, nose, height, shape etc. Nothing the same. Kind of similar personalities, though.

Mine wife is tall, trim, blond, sharp featured. My mom was short, brunette, busty and oval faced.

On a related subject, having lost my hair at a very early age, I began to observe the number of bald guys with hot girl friends and wives. I found more often than not that those females had dads that were bald. So, that would support this study.

I too am an outlier. My gf is a different ethnicity than my mother.

The only similarity betwwen my wife and my mother is they are they same height and caucasian. Other than that they look completely different. Different hair, eyes, nose, lips, mouth, coloring etc.
