I don't understand. Is it more blunt than a 1-word answer like whoopee's "unnerving" ?

I'm just surprised that someone who spends so much time on this forum and sees pictures of beautiful shoes everyday would go for these...

Don't take it the wrong way... I'm just contributing to your thread. If you only want supportive answers, you should consider asking "Who else here likes these shoes?" instead of "What do you think?"

Setting aside my personal reaction to the style, I wouldn't pay that much for J&M. My first and only pair were $45-$50, and at that price, they were acceptable, but I wouldn't pay more.
