What do you guys think of the quality of stretch jeans, like the ones that are 98% cotton, 2% lycra? I see more and more of these from makers like Diesel, 7, Citizens, etc (not that these are the best brands of denim, but they are trend-setters in many ways). I tried searching, but to do a search for "stretch" and "denim" on this forum is, as you can imagine, futile

. I've never loved the idea of it, but I want to know if maybe I'm being silly.

Stretch denim didnt sound too appealing until I tried on the Nudie Thin Finn a year ago. Since then it's become my fave jean and it never seems 'stretchy' other than the comfort despite the skinny/tight fit. April 77s are another jean I have that uses 2% lycra that I really dig.

the stretchy jeans to me seem kinda girly. Seems like they are good for people who want body molding fit that is also comfortable.
