Strap suggestions for Panerai

I currently have the large oversized buckle that is seen on many panerai:

I just can't get used to the size of the buckle. I've tried adding other straps but many are too thin and throw off the balance of the watch. Do you know of any places where I can purchase a smaller buckle (or deployment strap) that will fit an approx 5mm thick strap? Alternatively, any other straps that have small buckles (or deployments) that will look good on the watch?

Thanks.

Check the accessories corner on Paneristi for multiple aftermarket vendors of straps and buckles. You should get a traditional tongue buckle if you find the bottle opener uncomfortable.

I've bought a few from Heroic 18 and have been pretty happy with them

Anyone have an idea on who might sell suede Panny straps?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
