Yeah, b/c I heard the Svens fit slimly through the thighs and knee. I would say they're probably exactly 36" or at least started out that way. They haven't stretched at all (b/c they're not tight, most likely) in the waist and while the thighs/knee are not loose they aren't particularly tight either as you can see from the pic.

BM, yeah I'm sure you can. I wasn't looking for the tightest possible fit and I think 34 would have been very uncomfortable for me in the thighs as I have pretty muscular legs. If you're a true 30 I'm sure 29 would fit fine as long as your thighs aren't stacked. There is some room but they're certainly not baggy or antifit through the thigh/knee.

good fit on the SS, i would definitely not worry about the PBJ xx-005 having too high of a rise.. they are much slimmer and way more snug than the SS's (all around).

my pbj (sz 30) is 9" in the front, 12.5" in the back
rrds (sz 29) is 9.5" front, 13.5" in the back

I guess my only concern would have to be how long it would stay dark with the slubbiness.

I've heard that they are pretty stubborn, but I can't say for certain because after I cold soaked mine, I wore them around a little damp and I was adjusting it with my hands... after a little while, I noticed that my fingertips were blue

maybe it was just the initial soak that caused it?
