I am looking at this suit on STP.

http://www.sierratradingpost.com/i/5...faultDept=True

It says the color is brown but it looks greyish/charcoal to me, especially when you compare it to (what appears to be chocolate brown stripe in the) tie in the picture. Is it just my screen or do you think that the color description on STP is usually better than picture? Also, it does not specifically state that the suit is "full canvas construction". Does Corneliani make suits that are not full canvas?

It looks to me like a charcoal with a brownish tinge. It may be somewhat browner than in the pic, but probably not dramatically so. Of course, the only way to be sure is to order it and see for yourself!

I can't help on the question of Corneliani construction. Merry Christmas!

Thanks. Yes I was thinking that myself, though not sure whether I should wait a little to see if they add any further discount to it.

I'll wait for some more replies, surely someone knows about the construction. The sales rep at STP didn't know, but he did say that he would forward the question to their products people.

Merry Christmas to you too. Hope you had a great time.

Corneliani does indeed make suits that are half-canvas (or possibly fully fused). The CC, and Trend lines, specifically. And Polo BLue Label (half canvas). Mainline Corneliani are nicely made, full canvas.
