ok guys.

there is a 50% off sierra trading post sale going on clearance items, if you buy two clearance items.

here's something that I found worked well.

Find a clearance item that you want. Find a less expensive / relatively inexpensive clearance item.

You get 50% off the more expensive clearance item.

BONUS:

For today, there is also an EXTRA 30% off on the highest priced item in your cart. MYM29928

so lets say you find a suit for 999.99 in clearance and mix it with a pair of 14.99 clearance ballin pants.

The suit becomes $500. Then you stack the extra 30% off... the suit then becomes $350.

This does NOT work with EVERY clearance suit, so you have to try out different combos. However, it does work with some, so if you get lucky, you can get an Isaia or some other nice suit for less than $500.

Not $239, I know, but still sweet deal.

I just played with some STP pricing, I was able to find Isaia AquaSpider for 75% off retail, still too rich for my blood but very good none the less.

Damn you. I saw the 30% coupon this morning, but resisted. But 50% + 30% was too much. I ordered a d'avenza suit. I may not keep it, but it was worth a gander at that price.

wasn't working for me. I've been eyeing that tusting pebble grain bag for ages and thought this would be it.

but it seemed that no matter what other clearence item I added, the price wasn't coming down. I went through the point of checkout fill-in but never saw the price change.

ah - that was it. the tusting is on clearance, but not eligible. one day that item will be below $100 and then I'll buy it.
