stowa watch purchase

I'm just wondering if anyone who purchased a stowa in the US been hit with customs/duties with fedex shipping?

considering getting the antea 365

You will be charged a customs fee from fedex when your watch comes. Don't let that stop you from getting the watch though.

Fees vary- My wife has bought a few things from clothing to books and the fees have been about $10-$40 iirc.

Does Fed Ex send a bill, or do you have to pay on the spot in order to receive the package?

Fedex will send you a bill. Strangely, I was not hit when I ordered my Antea, but was hit when I had to send it back for a repair.

I didn't get it and I don't really regret it. From what I understood he tinkers with all the movements to get them perfect anyway. It's not even worth doing it for the looks anymore now because he already adds the blue screws and custom rotor with gold inscription.

thanks. realistically, i will never encounter a time and place where this would matter. i would only do it if it made sense on the resale of it. then again, i may never sell it.
