Don't worry, 95% of what is posted here is vague and unhelpful.

Those are the threaks. Another 4.9995% is abuse directed at other members. So that leaves about 0.0005% comprising useful advice.

Once that debacle is over I'll be sure and ask where I can get the best slim fit shirt to match it up with and then start another thread on whether I should now up my shoe game with Aldens or Allen Edmonds. Tassled loafers, right?

    Only if they're seconds.

Okay, fine. Joined after some quality lurking time.

Now I'm gonna go post a picture of myself in a button down and a tie WITH A HALF WINDSOR KNOT and get properly berated. And then ask about MTM and if I should go with GTs, or 1000 mile boots. Yeah, that should work.

Another lurker coming out of the woodwork.

Kiwi currently working in Hong Kong and making the most of an insane selection of tailors before I head back to NZ to live again...

I don't know how you can lurk on a forum like this for very long. I tried lurking, but then somebody was wrong and I had to let them know it. [IMG]

The fun parts of this forum have nothing to do with clothing. This is one of the perks of membership.

To be sure. Some of the cat fights have been epic.

    Only if they're seconds.

What exactly are the benefits of not just lurking? I think it's that you can ask questions if you need to. Also I think there is a funny forum somewhere with classic threads? Anyway I think of SF as a home of wisdom, and I have little, so what's the point?

I always assumed when I finally did post something the "fourth wall" of this tragic play would be broken and I'd be just another performer.
