I'd say 5EP's denim is probably the best readily available in the US. I own the prewashed bootcut and love them dearly. I hear that the cut of the straight is very different though. I'm a crappy judge at cuts, but I own a 33 in the Bootcut and tried a 32 in the Straight, and the Bootcuts still felt slimmer. I believe the straight is also a higher rise.

Don't take my word for it though. I'm sure someone here knows better than I.

Edit: Distressed 5EP Bootcut is available at Active Endeavours for only $150

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, distressed jeans turn me off because of the distressed areas never fit right, especially the honeycombs. Man, I really don't need another pair of jeans.

but i don't know, are trovata tees good quality? it's a sassy tee but sassy tees have also to be cheap and comfy, or else i'll feel sassed myself.

They seem decent enough to me. Run kind of small though (but I don't know if its small enough to recommend sizing up)

on the subject of steven alan (his shirts are my favorite)--he is releasing this fall a new shirt called, reverse collar, it is a spin-off of his reverse seam shirt and the collar is sewn inside so it always stays (stands) up (in a rumpled way--it is very cool.
