The older 911s are both classic and lovely, not to mention fun to drive. I think the Cayman will have a similar appeal, more so than the Boxter or the current 911. As for current and recent cars, I think the Honda S2000 will become a collector car. The Mazda Miata is 20 years old now and still very popular. I predict the new Fiat 500 will have durable appeal along with the basic examples of the Mini Cooper (not the convertibles, or the Countryman or the Clubman, though.) The new VW beetle, in its reworked version, seems promising also. The Mini Cooper would do well to have a less gaudy and more functional interior, though.

Fair enough... I sort of feel that way about the Icons too - the CJ3B is hot, but ridiculously priced.
