I don't know about "extremely fitted," but this is an excellent deal, I paid $146.71 from the factory...Definitely bookmarking this link for next year.

So "” a 39" chest should get a 41" peacoat? What if I wanted a trim fit?

I'd go for a 37", I'm about a 39" as well and my 38 fits very well, but the next one I buy will probably be a 37

So what does "extremely fitted" in this case mean? If I got a 38, could I still layer a sweater under?

I think they're referring to the fit of a basic sack-like peacoat. I wear a 42 jacket and the 42 sterlingwear fit me well enough. I could get a 40 on, though I doubt I could wear much of a sweater underneath it.

If you want a tight thin peacoat, buy small and have the lining ripped out. If you need it for, say, inclement weather, buy your size.

Billy "Bad Ass" Buddusky will understand.
