Truth. I have sz 3 shirts that are roomy on me and sz 4s that are very fitted. Outerwear seems to be more consistent no? 3=44/46 4=48

Decided to go with neither of these, but got the moss alpaca from ZhiMingBuFanDe -> couldn't be happier. Fits great and love the color, might post some fitpics soon.

I have size 5 in SS, at least in his jackets, and jackets #1 and 2 are available in size 5 at the SS store in Antwerp (you can send them an e-mail to order). #3 is on bstore london's website:
    http://shop.bstorelondon.com/shopping/stephan-schneider/clothing/item10140175.aspx

When I emailed the SS store (about 2-3 weeks ago) they also confirmed that they had one left (in size 5) in this color:

They also had some other colors left from black to gray in either wool or cotton. So if you're interested you might want to get in contact with them: it's an amazing jacket.

    Edit:
These are the measurements i received for a size 5 by SS store:
    SHOULDER TO SHOULDER: 49CM
    SHOULDER TO WRIST: 65CM
    BACKLENGTH: 70CM
    ARMPIT TO ARMPIT: 57CM
    ARMPIT TO WRIST: 50CM

550 euros, including VAT. That's excluding shipment though.

So what's the sizing measurements for the alpaca jacket in size IV?

I'm 5'8 and weigh 150-160. Am I a III, IV or V? which would provide the most ideal fit?
    Chest 39-40
    Shoulders 17

Depends on which one... I tried two from Fall and they fit differently. I was swimming in the size III of Snake's jacket and I'd say that one is a 46-48 maybe.

I have the size V and it fits well for a typical Eu 52. Then again, I do feel that this jacket can be worn in different ways - closer to the body or very roomy so sizing for this one very much depends on the look you're trying to achieve.

That said, Taco I think you're either III or IV depending on how fitted or loose you'd like to wear it

Here are the measurements from the one I'm selling:

    shoulder: 18.5"
    pit: 22.5"
sleeve length from pit to bottom edge of cuff: 18.25"

I'm 5'10-11", 145lbs, 37-38" chest and it fits me oversized, pretty close to the lookbook fit.

I'm inclined to say you're a IV, too. A III might work, but would probably be too small in the chest/shoulders, and a V would be too long.

New thread title is a big win....as is the Montana Shawl in my sig :)

Me likey the SS12 collection more and more. I wonder how much of it the US retailers will carry.

On another note, has anyone had any success figuring out how American Rag's Schneider sizing works? I sent them f**kers an email over a week ago and they never got back to me. I don't understand why they don't just keep the designers sizing and just offer sizing advice or comparisons in a separate chart. I'm sure they'd sell more online stock if they fixed that goofy-ness.

Also curious for info on this, tempted to buy the plain coat. (e: seems to me that the only logical answer is that sizes 1-4 on AmRag correspond to Schneider III-VI or IV-VII, yeah?)

Also tempted to buy your sweater.

    And BBSLM's alpaca jacket.

Aaaaagghhhh can't justify buying all three. :fu:

e2: ffffffffffffff AmRag just dropped their Schneider stock to 50% off. Would cop the coat if I knew which size to buy.

Well that 350$ cotton jacket (^^^ size 4 I recon?) is tempting even for me that I have far too many outerwear + I'm done buying for some time + I live in the EU (so it's shipping and another 20%).

    Someone please get it!
