1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Oh yeah, probably of interest here: dates of the sample sales

Sadly I'm in hong kong during that period. Pity because Dries Van Noten are doing theirs around the same time.

Around €300 iirc. Make sure you ask if you've a specific one in mind, it's a tiny shop floor and they have more stock tucked away upstairs.

If you're in Antwerp make sure to hit up Rosier 41 as well - they've a handful of pieces of overstock (mostly coats/jackets now) from AW12-13 (rugs to riches) left dirt cheap. Picked up a schneider shirt there last weekend for €100 down from €250.

I went there last month for the first time, felt like a kid in a candystore. Great shop.

Finally got my hands on the grey ijevan that I've been fiending after (thanks Severisth). [IMG] The weave is so much more sick in person than I expected, it's a lot more mixed/lighter than most pics online led me to believe.
IV fits perfect everywhere except the armholes are a bit high/arms are pretty slim, looks a little awkward. It should stretch over time...right?

God, I remember when I first saw that merino coat in stores and could not come close to affording the 1k price tag. So jealous.

I just got this jacket in from Suspension Point a week or so ago...I love it so far. All of the product shots I've seen show basically black sleeves, but these are definitely indigo-black (as indicated). The arms are cozy knit, and the body is a really nice soft, pliable black cotton. The inside is basically unlined (quarter?), with more of a canvas feel.

if I wear a 44 jacket in most brands, how snug will a size VI (23.5 ptp) fw 2011 double alpaca jacket fit me? still not sure if I'd be a 6 or a 7

7 would probably be ideal, 6 may work but will lose a lot of the intended aesthetic.

I think your best off with a 6 I'm normally a 6 in SS or 42 or large 40 and mine I feel fits perfectly oversized, also depends on your height...

For the grey quilted reversible charcoal plaid jacket from last F/W ('12), how noticeable was the brown lining when worn unzipped? Is it comfortable/warm?

I'm more like a large 44 (45 actual chest), thinking it will likely fit but will be more fitted. not sure how that would look
