There are pieces he puts out (like the alpaca jacket) every season, with little tweaks here and there, mostly fabric wise. I like that he's consistent.

I like the collection quite a bit, plenty of pieces I would love to have. Plus, as many of us itt know, there are some great pieces not shown in the lookbook.

I was probably remembering € prices, which would make sense with what snake said. [IMG]

Having seen the collection in person I can say that while the lookbook features certain styling decisions that I would not have made (mostly to do with the color palette they chose to focus on), it still represents the overall feel of the collection nicely. As a few of you have mentioned, I also prefer the women's side of the lookbook as the styling is cleaner (both for the model and the background). However, the individual pieces and fabrics are great and there are numerous styles, fabrics, and colors not shown in the lookbook (as is always the case with Schneider).

This season's variation on the jacket (#9) and coat (#5) are some of the best he's done as the fabrics feature a strong graphic element as well as a nice texture.

And yes, you are seeing a rug poncho and scarf. There are also cardigans, sweaters, and coats with damask, small-patterned, and color-blocked "rug" fabrics.

Yeah, the double wool Alpaca's were 550 euro's in the Antwerp store. I remember bStore carrying a grey one which I was eyeing for a long time @ around 500 pounds iirc. Also, last FW featured double alpaca coats in different materials (e.g. brushed wool, wool/cashmere blend and cotton versions) and based on the materials prices varied as well.

I went for the 75% wool, 20% nylon, 5% cashmere one in Moss Green from another SF member and I'm still so glad I bought it.... Hands down my best buy of 2011. Such an amazing piece...
