If I cared about you children I'd put you up on some OG ish, how we used to make the best markers using blackboard erasers and how we'd take visiting foreigners into the yards.

I know one of those "comfort shoe" guys is laughing and saying "If you wore cheap comfort shoes, you would have more money to buy gas."

I'm slowly building up a Carmina shoe wardrobe, while using Meermins and Magnannis to fill in the gaps while it's being built. Can't afford Lobbs, EG's, C&J handgrades, or anything above €350 a pair, I'm afraid...

Short wing brogues, penny loafers, and plain white trainers. Why won't you wear those, chum?

Good on you, son. Although when it comes to much older men I automatically default to health when I see them in horrible shoes. At some point you have to choose. Then I do see impeccably dressed old men in nice shoes but they can hardly walk. I fear that day.

    Way to go!

The journey is well worth it!

Hey, but you have the luxury of getting in on the ground floor with Meermin living in Spain and I have nothing but good things to say about Magnanni.

I will wear all of those, why'd you think different?

    Done. Bring it, son!

Let's do it. I was thinking the other day about petitioning the MTA to devote an older train car (or entire train) like the red ones still rolling, paint it white and let all of the graf artists come out and bless it. The roll it thru like the A line. Rolling art, son.

    What it do, son.

    No way, Ed wrote too?

Ed let me guess you're Ghost or Cope? Don't tell me that you don't have a blackbook with a bunch of Panta wild styles in there.

Those red ones aren't in use anymore. they were retired years ago, and most of them were put in museums, or tanked at the bottom of the atlantic because they're good for coral growth and fish like to live in them.

    No. Effing. Way. You too?

Next NYC meet up is at Bomb The System on West Broadway. Who also went there to get shady VHS copies of Videograf?

I could swear I still see those, maybe not red tho. I know the C line still uses some old trains.

Yeah son! The we'll go under the Brooklyn bridge and let loose.
