I saw it last night. John C. Reilly stole the show.

I saw it last night, it was pretty funny. Lots of humor from random cussing (which got kind of old to be fair) and Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly acting like manchildren.

Will Ferrel humor is just old. I like John C. Riley though.

It was fairly funny, but it did get a bit old. Seemed like the movie fell apart in the last 1/3.

I thought it was pretty damn hilarious.

I expected it to be aboslute crap, but I actually had a lot of fun. I went with a couple of friends who are a bit more in to this sort of humor. I appreciated the snide dig at Dane Cook, and some of the funnier non-sequitors.

The R rating opened the movie up for some genuinely funny lewd, crass nonsense. IT did kind of fall apart towards the end end but I reccomend the film under the proper circumstances (if you are with rowdy friends, inebrieted e.t.c)

Still - the highlight of the film was the trailer for Pineapple Express.

I don't understand this. Are they supposed to be grown men or grown men pretending to be children? And what's up with John C. Reilly's continued plummet into the dregs?

Like i said before this was surprisingly fun, but John C. Reilly has aboslutely been plummeting. Walk Hard was the worst *************. It was basically the opposite of Spinal Tap.

I'd recommend this as a matinee. it was better than expected, had some nice crude moments

far better than XFiles which we also saw over the weekend

I thought Walk Hard was funny as hell. It's not quite the same genre as Spinal Tap.

I lump rock-n-roll homage/comedies together I guess. My biggest issue with Walk Hard was how over-the-top it was. Rock-n-roll in real life is over-the-top, whe you make it more so it just becomes inane and meaningless.

Walk Hard just took everything to an extreme and came off like a bad (read: any contemporary) SNL sketch.
