Very happy with my Bemer 1786 replica leather.
They are in size 43 which means half a size up vs John Lobb and St Crispins and same size as Gaziano&Girling.

Stefano Bemer customer service confirmed that the Classica line has chrome tanned lining and insoles. Do you know if the Tradizione line has vegetable tanned lining and insoles?

I don’t even have them yet so I can’t answer that. The soles are hand sewn though apart from the heel block afaik. I will ask for more details before I pen the review

Is the replica Russian reindeer the same as Horween hatch that other makers use? I've also read that it's a patterned Arlington but trying to figure out if it is actually 'special' or if it's a branding exercise.

My personal experience with it is that, it's thinner, and it's more oily, a bad (or good?) thing is that, it's easier to get crease on the leasther. Texture wise I don't find any difference between Horween Russian Hatch.

We do in our London Showroom at the moment. Which mainly focuses on custom shoes and tailoring.
But we also have a decent selection of RTW shoes along with some StC.

And when the world becomes a little more predictable, I plan to introduce some models in Oslo/Online too. Stefano Bemer is fantastic, and Tommaso Melani is a great guy.

Given that London has been under a strict lockdown most of the time we've been there, we have not put too much effort in marketing it. But now we are finally open for appointments again.
