Stefano Bemer customer service confirmed that the Classica line has chrome tanned lining and insoles. Do you know if the Tradizione line has vegetable tanned lining and insoles?Of course![]()
I don’t even have them yet so I can’t answer that. The soles are hand sewn though apart from the heel block afaik. I will ask for more details before I pen the reviewStefano Bemer customer service confirmed that the Classica line has chrome tanned lining and insoles. My personal experience with it is that, it's thinner, and it's more oily, a bad (or good?) thing is that, it's easier to get crease on the leasther. Texture wise I don't find any difference between Horween Russian Hatch. Is the replica Russian reindeer the same as Horween hatch that other makers use? I've also read that it's a patterned Arlington but trying to figure out if it is actually 'special' or if it's a branding exercise.
