My latest pair from Stefano Bemer arrived a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, due to several crazy weeks at work, I was unable to post them. Well, better late than never I suppose.

Wholecuts, model 609 - a new model released late last year in S-last. I also requested the inclusion of a medallion and steel toe tips.

These, like my first pair of Bemer, required three to four wears to be broken in. Unfortunately, these can be quite painful but its all settled now and wearing like a dream.

Thanks for reading.

Nice pictures, the finish looks better than on the RTW. Did you specify anything re the finish, soles etc?

Other than the medallion and toe tips, I didn't specify anything else.

Whooo ... great! Although they don't look very italian to me, but a bit english. Consider this a compliment.

Yes, very nice and very English. Kind of Edward Green like. But I think it might have looked better with the broguing around the laces complete rather than sort of abruptly ending at the two ends.

- where can I get flat laces? On-line or in HKG, SIN, SHG or SYD?

Nice! I'd be interested in seeing how these crease after multiple wears.
