A steak that I didn’t cook at home. Argentinian steak with chimichurri sauce. The potato is a deep fried potato churro. Basically mashed potatoes fried like a churro. Crunch outside, mashed potato inside.

Spoiler: Not Steak

The stuff that wasn’t steak was pretty good too. Not pictured: The oysters I couldn’t wait to eat before taking a picture.

NY Strip with a simple pan sauce of shallots, red wine, veal stock and fresh parsley. I usually add poached and chopped bone marrow to this sauce, but the grocery didn't have any marrow bones.
