File for a continuance. No court would deny it for something as important as this.

Did they really need the new "ship's counsellor" character?

"I'm quite familiar with the piece...did you know it won't shoot unless you cock it?"

"Oh, yeah."

Manton: I didn't watch anything past the first minute or so, but I assume it's an officer of the week. In TOS these people would just show up and disappear. The ship had historians, archaeologists, etc., as best I can remember. Usually they were pretty women.

Just wait until you see Lou Ferrigno and his slave girl!

And yeah, I don't mind the counselor at all, I mean...look at her... <3 <3 <3

Actually thinking of her made me realize my one problem with this show....skirts are just not short enough.

Oh yeah that and the horrible casting for Spock. Other than that though, I love this little Youtube series. Just got kickstarted for 3 more eps. :)

The Kirk and Scotty are dead on. I am less impressed with the Spock and McCoy.

Bones is okay

Spock bugs me though.

So I watched that first episode, and I wasn't impressed. You had some passable impressions, and they (largely) seemed to avoid overdoing it. There was some passable acting, but no one in it (except the guy who played Apollo) had any stage presence. The whole thing felt like what it was, a bunch of amateurs playing Star Trek.

What got me about it was how clumsy the script and the story were. You'd think they could have come up with something better than that.

Cause the original was such a magnificently written, beautifully acted, impeccably crafted series, right?

Whatever you can say about the original star trek, you can't call it bland.

ETA: and I really did not like that woman, with her giant breasts, plain face, and dollar-store-dyed hair. She must be somebody involved's girlfriend or something.

Dude, it was the 1960s. So yeah, it was. It was up against Hee-Haw, the Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island. **** you and your revisionist history ****, it was and still is great stuff.

I give the redhead more credit for hotness than that, but, yeah, apparently she is the GF of the guy who plays Kirk (and who is also the producer).
