My Pure Blue Japan type 2 sits below my waist, but it's their deep indigo variant. Japan Blue and TCB Jeans have type 2's that look like they sit lower on the waist.

Any bigger feet guys out there care to comment on the fit of the Chups socks? Most of the ones I see are the "one size" fit 8-12 but wearing a size 13 most of the one size socks Ive tried always fit wrong since the ankle area gets stretched to far forward and the toe stitching gets to tight around the front.

I'm a very wide 12 - I can wear the non-Fairisle chup socks, so the native patterns etc. The Fairisle are all so tightly knit that they won't stretch at all for me.

I stopped in to try on a sample pair of jeans that had just arrived from the collaboration between Standard & Strange and Ooe Yofukuten. Great fit, nice medium/high rise, trim (not skinny, these 34's had an 8" cuff opening) and super soft Japanese denim. Best of all, they have an extra long inseam for us tall guys. These aren't on their website yet, but you can email them for details and to get a pair. If they get enough 35W's I may get two pairs.

I like this inner tag on the Ooe Yofukuten jeans :)

Pulled out my old PTB in #8 shell this morning to wear with my OA02XX to wear to the shop today.
Got some crazy sun fades on these guys. Laces are by Stolen Riches, which fit into some, but not all Aldens.

This is a little off the beaten path for the denim crew, but we just landed a small order of 1st PAT-RN. It's a line that goes along perfectly stylistically with our denim selections, and with our dedication to provenance and quality. Everything's made in Italy from the yarn on up, and the fits are superb.

We picked up three pieces to start, the admiral blazer, the campo jacket, and the reco chinos.

The blazer is a knit soft-structured piece made from a hopsack (ok sort-of-hopsack, since it's knit).

The Campo jacket and the Reco chinos are both made from buttery soft twill:

I did not realize that you guys were here. :embar: So now I'm subscribed.

Not sure if you've noted the recently started Kapital thread, but I'd imagine your thoughts on the brand would be welcomed there.

We were just discussing US stockists for the brand, and I understand that you perhaps have more in store than you show online. Is that the case?

BTW, I've got a pair of the Century denim from you guys.

Thanks for the heads up - I'll jump over there now. We often have more Kapital in-store than online, but we typically hold a lot of their denim more than any other pieces.

I hope you're digging those century denims!

I stopped by yesterday and a box of Pure Blue Japan denim had just arrived. These are their XX-003. Super slubby and hairy. They said they only make these once a year and the denim is woven on an exclusive slow shuttle loom which gives a very unique texture.

Stopped by yesterday and S&S had received their first batch of the Real McCoy's from Japan. The detail on this stuff is amazing. My immediate favorite was this heavy cotton fleece sweatshirt.

This field jacket is actually black and has every detail, spot on.
