I realize these aren't well-regarded. But for $10... it might be worth it. I was looking at either the cognac or white in size 8.5. Please be kind in replies

while I'm acquiring good taste in the other parts of my attire, my style in shoes leave much to be desired.

I'm trying to augment my wardrobe with both nice shoes and daily wear... the latter that I would destroy when I walk in the snow. For the former I already own 2 pairs of AE, and I'm getting a pair of PRL; this Stacy adams and a pair of KCs that I already own would fall under that category.

Thanks!

Methinks you're about to get hit with a mess o'bad-ass comments on the Stacy Adams, but as for Blair.com, they sell a lot of weird ass **** at some very good prices. Currently, under clearance, they've got corduroy slacks, wale-less, but with a sort of hammer-head texture for $5.99. I bought six pair. They came a couple days ago and they're really swell. Corduroy's a little thin, but a narrow leg with real deep pockets. Six pair, delivered $35.94 (free shipping promo on now.) Beat that.

$10!? Nothing wrong with those. Just don't try to stand near me or anything.

Ugliest shoes I've seen in a while. No point wasting even $10 on something like that.

Thanks for the input guys... refrained from the 'legit' ones, but got the white ones for costume parties.

Is that stuff any good? I have given those badboys a mean stare down at the liqour store many times, but have have never tried em.

If anyone hasn't tried 'em, and you like lager and not-bitter beers, I would recommend Boddington's.

It and their Oatmeal Stout are both very good. Definitely give them more than a stare down next time

I'll go with the oatmeal stout - wonderful stuff, not convinced by the chocolate stuff though.

The best UK stouts are probably Samuel Smith's both the oatmeal and imperial, but I don't know how readily available it is overseas. Greenwich Meantime Stout is worth a try too...

As to the shoes, I'd rather spend the money on the Boddington's - they're that bad.
