I finally got to snap a few photos of my latest StC's.

Side note: It's always been a very tight competition for my favorite loafer. I feel the Saint Crispin Mod 539 and Stefano Bemer's penny loafer on the J last are absolute perfection but I've only admired Stefano Bemer shoes from a distance. Can anyone provide any additional information on Bemer and how they would compare?

Nice! Did you take your typical StC size?

Ever since Leatherfoot sprung up in Toronto, I’ve been ordering StC’s on my personal last.

However, this time around was uniquely difficult as Phillip recommended a trial shoe again since I had never ordered loafers prior to this pair (And Leatherfoot has now closed its doors permanently so a loafer fitting was not an option). The trial shoe came in perfect but when the final shoe came in, it arrived too large and there was significant heel slip.

This confused both StC and myself, especially after I had shipped them back, Saint Crispins sent me photos of both the trial and final shoe fitting perfectly on my last. Phillip ultimately decided to do some modifications based on the photos I sent him of the final shoe being too large in the heel and the magic worked since these loafers now fit great out of the box ??

I saw several kinds of leathers available for StC shoes.
What are the differences between Inca and Russian?

Recently received these Dark Brown Mountain Grain Oxfords from Skoaktiebolaget. I like them for their casual style and simplicity, the leather's similar ascetic to russian calf, and the included Vibram sole. Great makeup by Saint Crispin's and the people at Skoaktiebolaget for a very fair price after discount. Thought I'd share these with the thread.
