Are they blackish brown? Or black/brown spectator style? Seems very brown to me.

Good question. I have a pair of Full Brogues in Black Brown and these are much more on the Dark Brown side then that pair. I actually prefer this color at this point so I'm happy.

I have been waiting an awful long time for my second pair of Crispins. They are either insanely busy, or they are just bringing the whole balance of them with them to the October trunk show for me to pick up.

I had to wait a bit longer for my second pair as well. First pair only took 2 months, but the second pair has taken 3 1/2 months. This includes 3 weeks were St Crispin took off for holiday in August.

Ah vacation. That probably explains it.

Can someone tell me how they do it?

I've received a number of other shoes from other shoemakers, but somehow there's no others that come out quite as nice.

I just received my second pair of St. Crispins.

Awesome, just Awesome.

I'll have to take some pictures when I get some better lighting.

Probably comes from the fact that they come from the factory polished properly, giving it a shinier and nicer finish overall?

I would have to agree, they certainly ship them out the right way.

Their presentation is just Awesome!!!

There's also something neat about getting a pair of shoes with your initials on the bottom of the soles.
