Thanks! First pair of shoes in a long time that I've been truly amazed by

That's why you will more than likely own more than just one pair eventually.

I ordered my second pair not too long after receiving my first pair.

My favourite SC model that might be next on the cards (pic courtesy Zimmerman Kim):

I cannot imagine a sexier form.

Was thinking of varying the leather type on the saddle and the rest of the shoe....same colour leather but normal crust for the body and shrunken leather for the saddle part (or maybe the other way around)....what do you guys think?

I think it will turn out great. I agree on staying with the same colour and the varying of the leather will make a contrasting yet subtle variation. Added with some polishing (with little variance in shade) will make it even more interesting

you cant go wrong with that shoe. but for me I think I would prefer 1 leather type with the captoe.

Box calf with croc saddle. Or hippo, elephant saddle.

Light-colored variants of crust leather do stain and scratch easily.

I think you're dead on the money with your idea, i've been thinking the same. the shrunken calf - dark chocolate brown would be amazing

Wish I lived nearby. Care to share some pictures (both people and shoes) of the first/second meetup?

Yes, I understand they received a shipment.

Unfortunately I'll just have to wait until mine is shipped to me.
