Did someone (relatively) recently post pics of a pair of wingtip bals without the typical St. C notch in the side broguing? Maybe I just imagined it, but I went back about a year in the thread and couldn't find them.

A picture being worth some number of words, like these but with a wingtip.

Does anyone know the differences between these 3 models: 508, 575 and 633. Thanks in advance. I want a split toe derby in suede as my first Saint crispins model and was hoping someone could give me some insight. Thanks!

Thanks. I've looked at that, but it's difficult for me to see the differences. For example, the 508 and 575 look the same to me. The only difference I see with the 633 and the other two is machine sewed apron vs hand sewn. That seems like a small change for an entirely new model designation.

When you have identifierad the difference with the split toe seam where the iconic 633 uses the skin stitch method look on the vamp next

The sides on the 508 is sewn on top of the toe box while the 575 is sewn in the very same way as the split toe (on 508 and 575) with all leather pieces level

I just love CRU 613 so much. Most of the time it looks black or dark grey, but then every now and again the light hits them just right and you get this:

Some model 601 inspiration from today. A stunning ALP074 / JAN Maraca combination on the classic last. The subtle ALP (nowadays i guess called Mountain Calf) is striking a very nice balance between the smooth crust leather and the INC with a coarser structure.
