MOD 613 zipper boots. Feeling a bit monochrome.

    Hey guys i need help!

I have a pair of StC with vibram soles, done by StC (order them with vibram).

However, i noticed that on one side of the shoe, the vibram has detached from the sole of the shoe.

Do i need to send it back to StC? Or can a cobbler just affix it back?

Cos it seems like it's been glued on.

You can probably do it yourself with super glue if it's a small area or just take it to a shoe repair and see what they say. If they're fairly new I think StC will fix them no charge for shipping.

Cobbler will fix it in a few seconds or do it yourself as mentioned above. Yes, they are glued on. Same thing happened to mine. I'll ask to to see if they can use a stronger glue. In my case it probably has to do with the large amounts of salt used on the pavements and roads here in Sweden, we had this issue with several makers.

    That's awesome news.

Thanks all. I'll find a cobbler, shipping costs too much.

Cobblers in my area don't encounter much GY or hand welted shoes, so i'm hesitant to go to them for any complicated repairs. But if it's just glueing i'm sure it'll be fine.
