Let Tom Park and Jun Kuwana fight it out, which one of them was first with the shoes
Not sure when "Jun" ordered the shoe, but the one at Leather Soul was ordered in May of 2012 and delivered in Nov. 2012..... Got the dates wrong. Ordered Feb 2012, delivered July 21012.....
Actually, I'm PC, the person who "designed" the shoe with Tom.....
So, you'll have the honour to be one of "Mightiest Monsters of all Time"!!!
You can even have the pick: Do you want to be King Kong or Godzilla?
I'm pretty sure you have that honor. Some of the pics that you have posted of your shoes have been
Haha, sorry B-S, didn't see your post on the previous page
So you're the famous PC!!
Jun posted his on his blog on October 2012.....
Well anyways, the design is semi-officially called the PC model, so if the other side has no objection, lets just keep it that way
I just buy too many shoes.
Love your design.
Looks so good, the folks at Bonafe made one too.
thats an order by the same japanese customer.
stefano bemer has a pair in the same or very similar design in his rtw collection as well, saw on last magazine issue 2
I'm waiting to see your G&G version
The bottom pair is actually what we have in stock Ready-to-Wear. Its not based on a bespoke shoe but rather on a similar model from JM Weston. There once was a similar model offered in a limited number through Leather Soul but this one is in a slightly darker shade and on the - in my opinion - better suiting sailor last. I initially wanted to have it with a Goyser welt instead of the Norvegese, but then gave this a try for once and it is certainly nothing to sneeze at
Let me know in case you're interested in a pair.
Haha, just had a look at the bespoke pair above. Funny how minds think alike. Same last choice despite not having seen this before. Well, I suppose it's not entirely surprising as the slightly wider last is just a better fit in this case than the comparatively sleek Classic last.
Ya its stock RTW now.
I have pictures of very similar/same designs from other makers as well in different construction methods.
p.s., can Z&K do a last comparison of all SC lasts, both top down and side profile? The last Classic vs Riva blog post was good but could use some ID of the lasts on pictures.
