1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

First time out. I had a very hard time getting my foot into these. The gusset had no stretch to it. Had to loosen the laces as much as possible. As I was applying pressure I heard a snap pop. I though I damaged the shoes but what happened is the black strap pictured above snapped off (on the other shoe) That allowed the gusset to stretch more. I'm just wondering, are these meant to be cut off? They are not attached very securely. Maybe someone has experience with this? Otherwise the fit is very comfortable. They got a lot of attention. Very unique.

What StC does best IMO. [IMG] The simple stuff. Not a fan of their house styles.

I picked up the 522, CRU 606 from LS. I like the shape of the Classic last, but it is very snug in the toe box. My Chisel last in the same 9F has significantly more room. The sole length measures about 11 7/8", which seems more like a US 9.5D than 10D.

Sole length means nothing in terms of fit.

Yes, I know. Should have just left it at a very snug toe box.
