1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Why not do it seamless? Saint Crispins does offer seamless wholecuts in addition to side seam.

First thought that sprang to mind for me as well. That price difference puts you well on the way to a second pair of lovely St. C's. That's how I'd choose to spend it. Others may choose differently.

Wow. When did they start charging that much for this? It was ~$200 a couple of years ago.

Wish I had got a pair back then. I would absolutely step up to seamless for that kind of relatively modest price differential.

the StC seamless wholecut costs $2600.

seamless is cool...but you need to be an afficianado to want something like that over a side-seam

Well they are getting out priced for the value nowadays, but that's just IMO.

Leathersoul seamless was $2300 last fall. Mine was $2400 (vs $1800 I think) with pret then tax. Then showed up with seam  since I confirmed a technically different model number even though order sheet said simply so not sure where miscommunication was

I hope you got money back! That happened once with StC. They put the wrong sole on a pair of boots. I was annoyed at first, but wasn't really out any money so I ignored it.

Yeah I think most of it back not sure exact pricing but it was close. I technically confirmed 114 in a darker 6972 from a photo by Ethan but we were also going off the purple simply they had on display. Didn't go to trunk show expecting to buy but damn shoes were too beautiful
