I really the the fabric on the batiste shirts, cut isn't too great for me though.

They look fine, but considering all the hype about how slim-cut they are, they don't seem that amazing. I mean they aren't even that tight on Mauro, and he isn't even one of the überskinny emaciated hipster types who always seem to be raving on about how great BoO is. The fabric looks nice, but as others have said, I'm not sure what makes these shirts worth $230. They also look a little long, no? I don't much care for shirts that cover that much of my jeans' front rise.

^It's not like they're one size fits all, dude. Mauro's wearing the size that fits him best for his frame, if you're one of those skinny emaciated guys you mentioned, you can pull out an XS and it'll be slimmer. Not entirely sure if the cut is different this year, but it's likely similar to past years so people know what they're getting. Just new colours and patterns.

For an example of the slimmer fit, there's a pic of Chrono hanging around somewhere that shows it.

+1

I've got a couple fits pics as well. Also, I find they are too short to tuck in.

Yeah, checked out the pictures of chronoaug and Teger in BoO and I stand corrected (to an extent). They're really nicely-fitting shirts, but I still don't see why you'd buy one of those for $230 when you could also just buy a significantly cheaper shirt, take it to a tailor, and get similar results.

We've had this discussion a few times and it comes down to this: BoO is more than just the slim fit. The proportions of the shirt (and the way the hem is cut) is unique and part of the experience. I enjoy the details like the oversized pockets, the oversized collar and the full back box pleat. I only wish they still made talls!

You are also paying for Made in the USA construction with MOP buttons and some decent hand work.
