Recently came across of these shoes. I kind of like them but that square toe... Is it acceptable chiseled toe -like shape or more like square toe "modern" trend?

it depends on the squareness. there are really square toes that are completely fashionably off. and there are some less degreed squarenesses, that work well on how you wear it. i have a pair of ferragamo bit loafers that are on a slight degree of square toe and it works really well. i like the look.
also, the shoes in your photo looks off a bit due to its camera angle. but i have seen that shoe and although it looks bad in the photo, it is not that bad in person. and moreso when you wear it and in that context of an outfit.

    ...one more shot.
I was thinking about wearing those paired with white jeans. I think I saw that look in last year GQ magazine...
    Thanks for fast replies.

Personally, I'm a fan of the square-toe and I think it works with all styles. I've worn them with suits, jeans and casual khakis and it's worked each time. Very nice pair of shoes, I like them a lot!

Even though those have a squared-off toe, I think they are pretty sharp.

IMO those don't venture into the kleenex box zone of squareness. Perfectly fine.

that side pic is probably better then the vertical. I think they look much tamer. Wear them and enjoy them while you can since they'll be WAY out of fashio in the next few years. The average Joe hasn't got the memo just quite yet.

Do they really look good to you? I presume those are Ferragamo, ask yourself whether you would like them if they weren't a name brand

I find that with Ferragamo, presumption of them being atrocities unto God is the safer route.

worse than anything is the square bicycle toe, like: [IMG] ouch that's uggers. I'm generally opposed to square toes. These look reasonably okay, though personally that buckle doesn't do much for me. and besides, all my bicycle shoes look like this: [IMG]
