Really like this stuff, quality is high, pieces are done really well. Wonder what mauro will get?

the 2b overcoat and peacoat are pretty sweet, if they make it to bergdorf sales....

that said, price is restrictive.

There are some really nice pieces but the collection as a whole is pretty run of the mill. Everyone raves about the quality but I haven't seen any yet. Simon Spurr is a bad ass though.

Meh. I'd wear the 3pc suit and some of the outerwear. Other stuff ranges from less than thrilling to bland.

I had the same thought... that they were similar, not which was superior, though I suppose that would have to be obvious.

Boring presentation. Much better than S/S09 but weaker than F/W08.

I like the puff jackets, the turtleneck, peacoat, and overcoat. The suiting has always been the strong point of what he's done so far.

A lot of designers from all levels seem to have taken inspiration from fabrics used in recent Jil Sander seasons.
