I've just bought a nice Henry Poole tie
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=130071945781
It's a lovely thick woven navy blue with silver and pink medallion. It's obviously been hanging vertically for a long time (looking at the colour of the lining and condition of the material, I reckon it's more than 30 years old, but that's just a guess).
Now, I don't mind about the stretching around the part which would have hung over the hanger, but the whole thing is slightly stretched vertically. I can tell because the medallion pattern is not quite square. It's easy to gently pull it to make it square temporarily.
Can I do anything to fix this?
